Cisco has announced the firing of 221 employees from its Milpitas and San Francisco offices. This comes after CEO Chuck Robbins said the company wouldn't be cutting jobs in favour of AI. The terminations will start from October, and Milpitas office will cut 157 positions, mostly in software engineering, while the San Francisco one will let go of 64 employees.
