CJI BR Gavai's family has condemned the attack on him inside the Supreme Court, where an advocate threw a shoe at him. CJI's mother, Kamal Gavai, said, "No one in this country has the right to do this...I would request everyone that whatever questions you have, please raise them peacefully." His sister called the incident an "attack on the Constitution".
