Clash erupted at Banaras Hindu University campus after students of Birla C Hostel clashed with university's proctorial board. The incident involved stone pelting which resulted in some people sustaining minor injuries. The clash erupted after a Birla C Hostel student was hit by car following which students went to proctorial board office where they had confrontation with board's security staff.
