A clash erupted between Tata Trusts trustees over ex-Defence Secretary Vijay Singh's re-appointment as nominee director on Tata Sons' board, ET reported. Mehli Mistry, Pramit Jhaveri, Jehangir Jehangir and Darius Khambata opposed the reappointment and proposed Mistry's name while Venu Srinivasan and Tata Trusts' Chairman Noel Tata opposed Mistry's appointment. Meanwhile, Singh resigned from board.
