At least 30 people were detained after clashes broke out between two communities in Maharashtra's Ahilyanagar on Monday. The police stated that people were protesting after someone made a Rangoli containing objectionable elements against one community. The police added they had to do a lathi charge after people started pelting stones when they tried to convince them to end protests.
