A 22-year-old Muslim cleric has been arrested for allegedly raping a minor girl inside a mosque in 2023, police in Karnataka's Belagavi said. The accused has been identified as Tufel Ahamed Dadapeer Nagarachi and a POCSO case has been filed against him, police said. The assault came to light after right-wing activist Puneeth Kerehalli posted a CCTV footage online.
