Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath announced an ex-gratia of ₹2 lakh for the next of kin of each deceased in Mirzapur train accident, ANI reported. CM Yogi also expressed grief over the incident and directed district officials to expedite relief measures. At least five people were killed after being hit by a train while they were crossing the railway track.
