Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis ordered the formation of a special squad to ensure charity hospitals do not deny treatment to needy patients. The squad will monitor bed availability in hospitals. Hospitals must reserve 10 per cent of beds for the poor, and should update bed details, funds and treatment information online.
