Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin announced a compensation of ₹5 lakh to the families of three children who died in a collision between a school van and a train in Tamil Nadu's Cuddalore district. CM Stalin stated that those severely injured in the incident will get ₹1 lakh each, while people with minor injuries will get ₹50,000 each.
