Coal India Limited (CIL) and EDF India Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Électricité de France SA (EDF), have signed a non-binding Shareholders Agreement (SHA) Term Sheet. This agreement outlines the formation of a Joint Venture between CIL and EDF to pursue Pumped Storage Projects (PSP) and other renewable energy projects within India and neighbouring countries.
