Fragments of comet C/2025 K1 (ATLAS), which split into three after it went too close to the Sun, are currently visible in constellation Leo. The surviving debris of the comet will make its closest approach to Earth on 25 November. It will pass at around 37 million miles (60 million kilometres), roughly half the average Earth-Sun distance.
