Comet C/2025 A6 (Lemmon), which has an orbital period of about 1,350 years, is approaching Earth this month. First spotted in January, the comet glows emerald green due to diatomic carbon and sports a colourful tail. It will come closest on October 21. It could be visible without a telescope in constellation Lynx, located between Jupiter and the Big Dipper.
