Violent communal clashes erupted in Jharkhand's Hazaribagh over putting up of flags and loudspeakers for Maha Shivratri celebrations. Two groups engaged in stone pelting and vehicles were set on fire and vandalised, reportedly injuring several people. "Bangladeshi infiltrators are affecting the demography and law and order," Union Minister Sanjay Seth said, condemning the violence.
