CompoSecure, backed by former Honeywell CEO David Cote, is reportedly in talks to acquire Husky Technologies from Platinum Equity for about $5 billion, including debt, according to The Wall Street Journal. The deal may be partly funded through a $2 billion PIPE. Husky, a plastics equipment maker, employs 4,300 people across 35 global sites.
