The Supreme Court has regularised the admission of a student and asked Dr Yashwant Singh Parmar, University of Horticulture & Forestry in Himachal Pradesh, to confer the candidate with a postgraduate degree. It noted that there appeared to be some confusion at the University's end. The Appeal was filed by a candidate who had fulfilled the course curriculum, including the required attendance.
