Eight opposition parties, led by Congress, have called an 'Odisha bandh' on July 17 to protest the death of college student who set herself on fire after no action was taken on her sexual harassment complaint. Congress leader Bhakta Charan Das said, "She brought petrol, and everyone watched silently. No one acted." The bandh aims to seek justice, he added.
