Reacting to the acquittal of all seven accused in the 2008 Malegaon blast case, Shiv Sena MP Naresh Mhaske said, "Congress government took action to spread...misunderstanding among the people in the name of Hindu terror." He added, "The truth has won...everything is out in the open." He also claimed that many army officers gave statements under pressure from the ATS.
