The BJP Goa criticised Congress for "deliberately" omitting party chief Mallikarjun Kharge’s photo from its Goa Statehood Day banner. Sharing the banner on X, BJP Goa said, "Congress humiliates its Dalit President." However, Goa Congress chief Amit Patkar responded that the picture of Kharge was "erroneously" left out, but featured on other posters across the city.
