Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman slammed Congress over party's criticism of Centre's GST reforms. Speaking at GST event, Sitharaman said, "Congress didn't even try GST reforms...they need to be tutored." She added that tax rates during Congress rule were as high as 98% and 91%, yet they never attempted any reforms. "Centre has worked consistently on tax reduction...since 2017," she added.
