Congress has expelled suspended Kerala MLA Rahul Mamkootathil as more sexual assault allegations came up against him. Mamkootathil, Congress MLA from the Palakkad constituency, was denied anticipatory bail on Thursday in a case involving fresh allegations of sexual assault. A woman from Bengaluru filed complaint against Rahul on Wednesday alleging he raped her on pretext of marriage.
