BJP's Shehzad Poonawalla reacted after Congress leaders claimed Centre is taking a u-turn on caste census by not mentioning it in 2027 Census notification. Poonawalla said, "Congress is a peddler of liars and a factory of fake news...Lying has become their characteristic." He also alleged that Congress has a history of neglecting the rights of the Other Backward Classes (OBCs).
