Congress Councillor Phuntsog Stanzin Tsepag has been charged after protests in Ladakh turned violent on Wednesday, leaving four people dead. BJP's Amit Malviya said Tsepag instigated the mob and participated in violence. The Centre has blamed activist Sonam Wangchuk for the violence and slammed his provocative mention of "Arab Spring-style protest and references to Gen Z protests in Nepal".
