Kerala Congress leader Rahul Mamkootathil on Thursday resigned as the state Youth Congress President after actress Rini George said a politician sent her objectionable texts. After Kerala BJP alleged he was the harasser, Mamkootathil challenged the complainant to prove the case in court. Calling Rini his friend, Mamkootathil, who's the Palakkad MLA, said she hadn't named him.
