Congress workers in Chandigarh protested against worsening roads by placing BJP's lotus symbol inside potholes. They marked circles around the damaged spots and added cut-outs to blame the ruling party for poor maintenance. BJP won the municipal polls in January with Harpreet Kaur Babla elected as new Mayor of Chandigarh winning with 19 votes against 17 votes of AAP-Congress alliance.
