The Congress is likely to contest 58 of the 243 seats in the upcoming Bihar Assembly polls and has already finalised candidates for 25, The Indian Express reported. Notably, this is 12 fewer than the number of seats the party contested in the 2020 elections. The list includes 15 of the Congress' 17 sitting MLAs, the report added.
