Chief Justice of India BR Gavai referred to the Indian Constitution as a living, organic, and evolving document that adapts to the changes demanded by various circumstances. He said whenever the Supreme Court has raised issues related to the interpretation of the Constitution, Parliament has risen to the occasion by amending it to meet the changes of the new generations.
