The Tamil Nadu Police arrested a 17-year-old boy from Villupuram for issuing a bomb threat to the Chennai Metro Rail on 5 September. The teenager was traced after authorities received a hoax call and has been taken into custody for questioning by the Koyambedu police. Officials said further action against the minor would follow based on the inquiry.
