As many as 40 samples of the cough syrup linked to the deaths of two children in Rajasthan's Sikar failed quality tests in the last two years, a report claimed. However, each time the syrup got blacklisted, it was sold through Rajasthan Medical Services Corporation Limited (RMSCL). A victim's family claimed they bought the syrup from the hospital pharmacy.
