The counting of votes for bypolls to five Assembly seats in Gujarat, Punjab, Kerala and West Bengal began at 8 am on Monday amid tight security. Notably, the bypolls for two seats in Gujarat- Visavadar and Kadi and one each in Punjab (Ludhiana West), West Bengal (Kaliganj) and Kerala (Nilambur) took place on June 19.
