Madagascar President Andry Rajoelina was toppled on Tuesday in a military coup amid Gen Z protests in the country. Military said it would rule the country for a period of up to two years alongside a transitional government before organising new elections. Youth have been protesting over corruption, bad governance and lack of basic services.
