Neil and Momo, a Mumbai-based couple, left the city in 2020 and moved to Malusar, a small village in Mahabaleshwar. They purchased land there, which was barren in places and stripped of nutrients. The couple turned the abandoned land into a zero-waste farm via composting, cover cropping and mulching. Their farm grows a wide variety of vegetables and fruits.
