An Indian couple, who went to Iran to get married, thanked the Indian government for evacuating them from the war-hit country. "The airports there are shut, the Indian government has started these (special) flights," the man said, adding that the Indian Embassy in Iran supported them throughout. "Our journey back to India was safe and smooth," the couple said.
