A CPI(M) leader, Samineni Rama Rao (70), was allegedly murdered near his home in Khammam district, Telangana, police said on Friday. They added that the unidentified attackers stabbed him to death with knives in Patharlapadu village before fleeing the scene. Police added that Rao died on the spot. Police have registered a case and are investigating murder from all angles.
