Central Railway has recorded freight loading of 5.61 MT for August. This is the second highest loading recorded in last 10 years between FY16 and FY26. This increase also marks a 2% increase in freight loading compared to August 2024, when the figure stood at 5.49 MT. Central Railway also recorded 4% increase in speed, from 13.39 kmph to 13.99 kmph in August 2025.
