Air India's Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, which crashed in Ahmedabad on June 12, was due for comprehensive checks in December this year, PTI reported, citing airline officials. The aircraft had last undergone comprehensive maintenance checks by AI Engineering Services Ltd in June 2023. They added that the right side of the engine was overhauled and installed in March 2025.
