Black box devices found from the debris of the crashed Air India plane are "severely damaged", making it difficult for Indian investigators to extract data and ascertain cause of the crash, multiple reports said on Thursday. They may be sent to the US for advanced forensic analysis and data recovery, reports added. The crash killed around 270 people.
