An Indian, who was deported from US, recounted his experience of ‘donkey route’ taken to US and said illegal migrants had to cross 17-18 hills and if someone got injured, they were left to die. "If someone slipped, there was no chance of survival...We saw dead bodies," he added. Clothes worth ₹30,000-35,000 were stolen along the way, he stated.
