After a crowd gathered to collect what they thought was holy water coming out of the trunk of a tree in Pune district's Pimpri Chinchwad, the Water Supply Department revealed that it happened as an old underground pipeline had burst. People garlanded the tree and applied turmeric, believing it had healing powers.
