Researchers at the University of Delhi have found crows are less stressed and cope better with problem-solving tasks under artificial light than crows who are kept alone. The researchers exposed two groups of Indian house crows to dim night light and studied changes in them. Crows in groups were more active and avoided feather-plucking, a stress-linked behaviour, unlike solitary birds.
