CSIR has developed a non-destructive evaluation framework to detect damage in aircraft components by using ultrasonic guided waves, offering a faster and cost-effective method. This will improve aircraft safety & maintenance through reliable damage detection; benefit civil aviation sector; and be useful for the armed forces.
