A private bank through its CSR has been empowering rural and semi-urban communities in Tamil Nadu with solar-powered infrastructure. In Krishnagiri, solar fencing around 340 acres of farmland reduced crop losses caused by wild animals, making farming viable for 241 farmers. In Nilgiris and Coimbatore, solar pumps helped rehabilitate degraded land and enable year-round farming in rainfed regions.
