Madras High Court dismissed a plea by Tamil Film Active Producers Association (TFAPA) to ban online reviews of movies in the first three days of release. The court pointed out that implementing the ban is "unsustainable" and "curbs fundamental right to speech and expression". The association alleged that social media reviews shaped audience perception and would therefore influence the masses.
