A curfew was imposed in Roing, Arunachal Pradesh, after a 17-year-old from Assam died following a mob attack at a police station. The teen, arrested for allegedly assaulting minor girls, was forcibly taken from custody and beaten. He later died in hospital. Authorities are probing both the assault case and mob violence. Security has been tightened in the area.
