Mysuru district police apprehended a dacoity suspect by shooting him in the leg after he tried to flee, violently assaulting officers in the process. Superintendent of Police N. Vishnuvardhana and ASP C. Mallik promptly visited the scene and later checked on the injured officers and the suspect, Adarsh, at their respective hospitals.
