Former Uttarakhand CM Harish Rawat on Wednesday welcomed the move to start daily Bhagavad Gita 'shlokas' in school assemblies, calling it "good". He said, "Bhagavad Gita promotes Karma Yoga...and serves as a guide in all aspects." His remarks came after Education Minister Dhan Singh Rawat said the syllabus would be revised to include the Bhagavad Gita and Ramayana.
