Authorities in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday issued an advisory for residents in and around Dal Lake, especially Dal dwellers and houseboat owners, to take precautions after the Jhelum crossed the 21-feet danger mark. Officials warned, “The potential opening of Ram Munshi Bagh's gate may cause a further rise in Dal Lake's water level, which currently stands at 10.5 feet."
