Kavin Selvaganesh, a 23-year-old Dalit techie from Chennai, was allegedly murdered in Tirunelveli by Surjith Saravanan, the brother of his girlfriend, over their inter-caste relationship. Surjith, son of a police officer couple, reportedly lured Kavin under the guise of a conversation before killing him, according to police sources.
