US said it condemns China hitting a Philippine vessel in the South China Sea. "We stand with our Philippine allies as they confront China's dangerous actions which undermine regional stability," US State Department said. Philippines had accused China of hitting and water cannoning its vessel near disputed Thitu Island in South China Sea and said China's actions were "clear threat".
