BJP leader Amit Malviya said latest data showing 7.8% GDP growth for India's economy in April-June came as the "hardest slap of reality" for Congress' Rahul Gandhi. "He's the same man who declared India a 'dead economy'," Malviya said. "Rahul Gandhi said the economy is dead...'Dead nahi, deadly hai' (India's economy is not dead, it's deadly)," BJP's Shehzad Poonawalla said.
