Deputy Chairman Harivansh chaired the proceedings in the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday, a day after the resignation of Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, who is also the ex-officio Chairman of the Rajya Sabha. In his resignation letter, Dhankhar said that he made the decision to prioritise healthcare and abide by medical advice. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has wished him good health.
